On October 7, 1978, Mike married his love, Debra Shilts and they were blessed with 2 children, Matthew and Megan. His family meant everything to him, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
One of Mike’s greatest passions was the outdoors. He loved fishing and hunting of all sorts where he could make memories with family and friends. Mike was also an avid Brewer and Packer fan and loved watching them out in the garage when the weather was nice. In addition to his passion for family, fishing, hunting, and sports, Mike loved camaraderie and celebrating life’s moments, big or small. He was the life of the party, with a contagious laugh and a knack for storytelling that could captivate a room.
